As of September 1, 2027, we are looking for you for the 3-year dual study program for the Bachelor of Engineering in Railway Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering (f/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Frankfurt am Main in the Niederrad district. You complete your theoretical phases at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Giessen/Friedberg. During lecture-free periods, you work in our company. Theory phase content: Engineering fundamentals (mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, technical mechanics, and computer science). You acquire broad expertise in planning, design, construction, and maintenance of structures, taking into account the requirements of ongoing railway operations. Practical phase content: You can participate in construction projects and get to know areas such as project management for the renewal of engineering structures (bridges, retaining walls, culverts, etc.) in the existing network. You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your (subject-specific) university entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachabitur) or possess an equivalent professional qualification (professionally qualified applicants must meet the corresponding enrollment requirements at THM). Math and physics are your favorite subjects, and you also have a knack for computer science. Technical interrelationships and railway operations fascinate you. You are communicative and value teamwork. Purposeful and independent work is second nature to you.

For the success of your studies, we provide the best conditions: You receive a notebook from us that you can use for learning and privately. We support you in settling into your new city! If you have to commute more than 2.5 hours daily from your previous place of residence and rent a closer apartment, you receive a rent subsidy of up to 400 € per month from us. Depending on the year of study, between 1,406 euros and 1,538 euros per month as well as a study bonus of 4,000 euros. Remuneration amounts are valid from July 1, 2026. The employment conditions apply to the vast majority of dual students in the DB Group.
