Dual Study Program in Railway Engineering, Information Technology 2027

From 1 September 2027, DB InfraGO AG is looking for dual students for the 3-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Railway Engineering with an IT focus (f/m/d) in Gießen or Koblenz. Theory phases take place at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Gießen / Friedberg, and during lecture-free periods you work in the company. The selection process includes an aptitude examination.

• Theory phases: Engineering fundamentals (mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, engineering mechanics and computer science)
• Theory phases: Focus on information technology with in-depth knowledge of control and safety systems, electrical engineering and electronic and digital interlockings
• Practice phases: Work in construction supervision, often outdoors on construction sites
• Practice phases: Comprehensive insight into the main areas of railway operations and railway infrastructure
• Practice phases: Involvement in various projects, e.g. planning of railway facilities as well as planning and expansion of telecommunications

• You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) Abitur or have an equivalent vocational qualification (vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrollment requirements at THM)
• Math and physics are your favorite subjects and you are also good at computer science
• You are fascinated by technical connections and railway operations
• You are communicative and value teamwork
• Working in a goal-oriented and independent way is a matter of course for you
