Dual Study Program in Electrical Engineering: Communications Engineering for Transport Systems 2027

From 01.09.2027, DB InfraGO AG is looking for you for a 3.5-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, specializing in communications engineering for transport systems (f/m/d). You alternate between theory phases at the university in Hannover and practice phases at the team location in Hamburg.

• Theory phases: fundamentals of electrical engineering, mathematics, physics and computer science
• Learn communications and control engineering, automation technology and electrical power supply
• Key skills such as interdisciplinary thinking, project management and presentation techniques
• Practice phases: insight into project management, planning and construction supervision
• Focus on communications engineering, e.g. information displays, video surveillance and ticket machines
• Work on small and large projects and get to know all project phases
• Alternate between office work and practical assignments on electrical systems

• You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) Abitur or have an equivalent vocational qualification (holders of the Fachabitur must pass the aptitude test at DHBW before starting; vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrollment requirements)
• Your favorite subjects are math and physics
• You enjoy teamwork and are fascinated by technical connections
• You also like tinkering with electronic devices
• Working purposefully and independently is a matter of course for you
