Dual Study Program in Electrical Engineering Project Management 2027

Because through you our existing lines stay safe and our network can be further expanded. Starting 01.08.2027 we are looking for you for the 3.5-year Dual Study Program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (f/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Nuremberg. You complete your theory phases at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences. During lecture-free periods and in a practical semester you work in our company.

Theory phase content: You are taught the fundamentals of your electrical engineering studies – topics from mathematics, physics and computer science. You also learn everything worth knowing about digital technology, measurement technology and control engineering. During your studies you also acquire specialist knowledge about signals and systems. You naturally also deal with key qualifications such as interdisciplinary thinking, project management and presentation techniques. Practice phase content: During your dual studies your main tasks lie in the areas of electrical engineering, energy supply and electrical switchgear. You take care of, for example, conducting variant studies, measurements and developing energy supply concepts. You also participate in the planning and execution of attractive projects. Office work and practical assignments at electrical installations in the operational area alternate. In addition we train your understanding of complex interrelationships, from order to quality control.

You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your general or subject-specific university entrance qualification (Abitur/Fachabitur) or possess an equivalent professional qualification (professionally qualified applicants must meet the enrollment requirements of Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences). Your favorite subjects are maths and physics. You enjoy teamwork and are fascinated by technical interrelationships. You also like tinkering with electronic devices. Purposeful and independent work is a matter of course for you.

For your successful training we provide the best conditions: You receive a laptop from us that you can use for learning and privately. We help you settle into your new city! If you would have to commute more than 2.5 hours daily from your current residence and rent a closer apartment, we give you a rent subsidy of up to €400 per month. Depending on the year of study, between €1,406 and €1,538 per month plus a study bonus of €4,000.* Remuneration amounts are valid from 01.07.2026. The employment conditions apply to the vast majority of dual students in the DB Group.
