Dual Study Program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology 2027

From 1 October 2027 we are looking for you for the 3-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, specializing in communications technology for transport systems. Theory phases at DHBW Ravensburg, Friedrichshafen campus, alternate with practical phases in Nuremberg.

• You learn the basics of your electrical engineering studies, with topics from mathematics, physics and computer science
• You learn all there is to know about communications and control engineering
• You gain expertise in automation technology and electrical power supply
• You gain a comprehensive insight into project management, planning and construction supervision
• You work on small and large projects and get to know all phases of our construction projects
• Office work and practical assignments on electrical systems alternate

• You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) Abitur or have an equivalent vocational qualification (holders of the Fachabitur must pass the DHBW study aptitude test before starting; vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrolment requirements)
• Your favorite subjects are math and physics
• You enjoy teamwork and are fascinated by technical connections
• You also like tinkering with electronic devices
• Goal-oriented and independent work is a matter of course for you
