Track Construction Apprenticeship in Structural Engineering 2027

Three-year track construction apprenticeship with DB InfraGO AG in Neudietendorf, starting on 15 August 2027. The vocational school is in Magdeburg near Krökentor, and the training workshop or training centre is in Königsborn near Magdeburg.

• You work outdoors with your team on track construction sites.
• Together, you inspect rails, sleepers and points for damage, replace broken parts or carry out demolition work and winter maintenance.
• You use modern machines to renew the ballast beneath the tracks.
• You carefully check that all measurements are correct so trains run smoothly and safely.
• During your apprenticeship, you are an important part of the team and help keep trains running reliably every day.

• You have successfully finished school or will do so soon, and your school qualification is recognised in Germany.
• Your German is at least at B2 level; applicants at B1 level are offered an online B2 German course before the apprenticeship starts.
• You prefer working outdoors to sitting at a desk.
• You are motivated and reliable.
• You enjoy teamwork and getting involved in practical work.
• You welcome different work locations and working hours, including night shifts.
• You will undergo a fitness assessment during the selection process.
