Dual Study Program Electrical and Information Engineering, Construction Supervision 2027

3-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Information Engineering, specializing in communications engineering, with theory phases at DHBW Karlsruhe and practical phases in Offenburg. It starts on 01.09.2027 with a 1-month practical placement, after which theory and practice generally alternate every 3 months.

• Learn the basics of electrical engineering in math, physics and computer science
• Learn digital technology, electronics, measurement, control and microcomputer technology
• Gain insight into project management, planning and construction supervision
• Focus on electrical engineering, especially communications technology
• Work on small and large projects and get to know all construction phases
• Alternate between office work and practical work on electrical systems

• You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) Abitur or have an equivalent vocational qualification (Fachabitur holders must take the DHBW aptitude test before starting; vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrolment requirements)
• Your favorite subjects are math and physics
• You enjoy teamwork and are fascinated by technical connections
• You also like tinkering with electronic devices
• Purposeful and independent work is a matter of course for you
