Electronics technician / electrician / mechatronics technician for qualification as signal mechanic

You complete a tailored internal training program to become a signal mechanic. You start as a skilled worker in control and safety technology and go through several development steps over the first 18 months to the target position of signal mechanic at DB InfraGO AG in Oldenburg.

• Maintenance of various control and safety technology systems, focusing on inspection, repair and fault clearing of electrical and mechanical components, e.g. signals, points, level crossings
• Recording and assessing system condition with modern measuring devices and technical documentation
• Performing tasks in your regional area mostly in a team, independently and reliably
• Work starts and ends daily at the central base in Oldenburg
• Complete the internal qualification program and attend regular further training
• Training as railway operations helper and level crossing guard, deployed when needed

• Successfully completed training in electrical engineering, e.g. as electrician, mechatronics technician, industrial electrician, electronics technician for operations technology or automation technology
• After thorough onboarding, willingness to take part in rotating on-call duty (every 4-5 weeks)
• Willingness to work outdoors, as many systems are in the track area
• Reliable, team-oriented and flexible
• Valid class B driver's license is an advantage
