Electronics Technician / Mechatronics Technician for Rail Vehicle Maintenance

DB Regio - Schiene is looking for an electronics technician / mechatronics technician (w/m/d) for rail vehicle maintenance at its Aachen site, as soon as possible. Full-time, permanent.

• After successful qualification and onboarding, independently carry out maintenance work and fault analysis on regional trains
• Take care of the electronic components in interior and exterior systems and get to know the mechanical components
• Dismantling and assembly of parts and assemblies
• Take part keenly in qualification programmes for maintenance staff and apply the new knowledge in practice
• Provide trains that are punctual, operationally safe and roadworthy for customers
• Contribute ideas and help develop new repair solutions and improve quality and the environment

• Successfully completed technical vocational training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic or in a related field
• Passion and commitment, manual skill and enjoyment of taking responsibility
• Motivated to approach new topics and to gain and apply qualifications
• A high degree of flexibility, drive, resilience, teamwork and collegiality
• A valid class B driving licence is an advantage
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system, including weekends and public holidays
