Skilled Worker Track Construction

You perform skilled worker tasks in track construction in the area of superstructure maintenance or in the investment area of new construction on nationwide construction sites. You apply the techniques relevant to track construction (assembling and laying rails and sleepers) and are confident in handling them. Operating essential small machines, devices, and tools is your responsibility. The independent execution of higher-level measurement tasks is also part of your area of responsibility.

• You perform skilled worker tasks in track construction in the area of superstructure maintenance or in the investment area of new construction on nationwide construction sites.
• You apply the techniques relevant to track construction (assembling and laying rails and sleepers) and are confident in handling them.
• Operating essential small machines, devices, and tools is your responsibility.
• The independent execution of higher-level measurement tasks is also part of your area of responsibility.

• You have successfully completed training as a skilled worker in civil engineering, steel construction, concrete construction, metalworking, masonry, or a comparable profession.
• Ideally, you already have an additional qualification in measurement technology (EDP-supported turnout inspection).
• You are willing to be deployed in assembly work, including shift service (night, weekend, and holiday work) and outdoor work.
• You possess a valid class B driver's license.
