Skilled Worker Civil Engineering / Mason / Metalworker as Track Layer

We are looking for you as a track layer (f/m/d) for the regional maintenance of DB InfraGO AG at the Esslingen am Neckar or Kornwestheim location starting as soon as possible.

• You are responsible for the constant maintenance of our rail network and track systems
• You independently and reliably carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair work on rails, sleepers, ballast bed, etc.
• You also independently perform welding work such as manual arc welding, thermite welding, and flame cutting after completing the required training courses
• You always keep an eye on the safety of your team colleagues during daily work on the track
• You go through our internal qualification programme, regularly attend further training, and continuously learn more.

• You have successfully completed training as a track layer or in a comparable skilled worker profession in civil engineering, steel construction, concrete construction, metalworking, or masonry
• Ideally you already have solid professional experience in track construction and bring the necessary ambition and aptitude to acquire further qualifications in the track department and the qualification as a rail welder
• Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, and holiday work) as well as to work outdoors is a matter of course for you
• You enjoy physically demanding tasks and like working in a team
• You hold a class B driving licence and are willing to acquire a class C1 or C1E driving licence at the employer's expense
