Specialist Construction Supervisor, Railway Track

DB InfraGO AG is seeking a specialist railway track construction supervisor to start as soon as possible in Bitterfeld, Dessau-Roßlau or Lutherstadt Wittenberg. This permanent full-time role involves supervising and coordinating construction projects.

• Provide specialist construction supervision to ensure projects are delivered, and reliably coordinate construction operations and trades on your site
• Ensure safe construction operations and check that construction companies deliver their work in line with their contracts
• Maintain an overview of your sites, coordinate internal and external participants, document progress and monitor costs, schedules and construction quality
• Ensure that technically checked and officially approved plans are implemented and that safety and environmental protection rules are followed
• Approve construction invoices, review claims for additional work and accept completed construction work
• Report deviations from construction plans or problems on site promptly and coordinate corrective action where necessary to get the project back on track

• You hold a master craftsperson or technician qualification in railway track construction
• You have successfully completed specialist construction supervisor or construction supervisor training and have practical experience in construction supervision
• You enjoy wearing a hard hat and high-visibility vest, working outdoors and combining work on construction sites with office work
• You have a strong sense of responsibility, coordination skills and assertiveness, and work with commitment, reliability and independence
• You are a team player who enjoys communicating, negotiates well and stays calm under pressure
• You hold a valid category B driving licence and meet all medical fitness requirements, which will be checked during the application process
