Vegetation Maintenance Specialist with Rope Climbing Skills in Delmenhorst

DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH is seeking a vegetation maintenance specialist with rope climbing skills in Delmenhorst to start as soon as possible. This permanent, full-time role involves vegetation maintenance and demanding tree work along the railway network.

• You independently and reliably maintain vegetation along our railway network, making an important contribution to safer train services
• You use chainsaws, brush cutters, various types of mulching machinery and specialist equipment reliably
• You carry out demanding tree felling, complex tree dismantling and sawing from elevated work platforms, and use rope climbing techniques to SKT B standards
• You safely fell designated trees and independently correct identified quality issues
• Your duties also include clearing cut vegetation
• Your trained eye allows you to spot potential hazards in vegetation immediately

• You are a trained forestry worker or landscape gardener, or have comparable experience in vegetation work, and have completed the SKT B rope climbing course
• Ideally, you hold a valid category B driving licence for daily travel to work sites and transporting equipment
