Track Mechanic / Specialist Track Maintenance

You are responsible for the proper, professional and timely execution of maintenance orders (inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair) of infrastructure assets in the track / superstructure trade This includes observing assigned budgets, central specifications and plans as well as ensuring quality-assured capacity control You also ensure that the infrastructure assets are available as required so that safe, punctual and economical operations are possible Safety planning and monitoring are also part of your area of responsibility, as is monitoring the quality assurance of maintenance measures, accident prevention and occupational safety Last but not least, you are involved in the administration and repair, the execution of test orders and deadline monitoring for equipment, tools, measuring and test equipment, fire extinguishers, fall protection and ladders

• You have successfully completed your vocational training as a civil engineering specialist / track layer and have the qualification as an IHK master craftsman in track construction or track mechanic / specialist track maintenance
• Ideally, you can already look back on several years of professional experience as a master craftsman in track construction
• You like to take responsibility, are proactive and bring a high degree of customer orientation
• Assertiveness combined with diplomatic skill, motivation and initiative
• Night and weekend work as well as participation in on-call duty for troubleshooting are a matter of course for you
• A class B driving licence rounds off your profile
