Production Engineer at the Hannover Depot

DB Regio AG is seeking a production engineer in Hannover to start as soon as possible, maintaining rail vehicles and improving workshop processes.

• You keep people moving: by using your engineering expertise to keep our fleet ready for service, you help thousands of passengers travel from A to B every day
• You ensure our rail vehicles are maintained economically, to quality standards, safely and with customers in mind
• You work closely with around 80 skilled tradespeople, team leaders and master technicians at our depot, as well as our customers' fleet management and specialist services teams
• You listen to everyday workshop problems and improve production and processes
• You develop technical specifications, instructions and documentation for the workshops
• In the future, you may take on further duties, such as responsibility for inspection supervision or adhesive bonding supervision

• You have a completed engineering degree or are a state-certified technician specialising in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, rail vehicle engineering or a comparable field
• Experience in operational maintenance processes and rail vehicles is desirable
• You must be willing to undertake further technical training, for example in non-destructive testing
• Knowledge of Office applications is required; knowledge of SAP ISI and WeDoIt is desirable
• You take action when you see problems and are willing to suggest improvements and implement them with the team
