At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a Track Layer / Switch Mechanic with target function Skilled Worker Track Maintenance | PRINS Team (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Ludwigshafen am Rhein site. You will undergo a tailored internal training program that supports you on your way to becoming a Skilled Worker Track Maintenance. In the process, you will further develop your competencies and acquire extensive knowledge for your new role.

• After successful qualification, you are responsible for the proper, professional, and timely execution of maintenance orders (inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair) of infrastructure facilities
• This includes observing assigned budgets, central guidelines, and plans as well as ensuring quality-appropriate capacity control
• In addition, you ensure that the infrastructure facilities are available as required, so that safe, punctual, and economical operations are possible
• Safety planning and monitoring also fall within your area of responsibility, as does monitoring the quality assurance of maintenance measures, accident prevention, and occupational safety
• Last but not least, you are involved in the administration and repair, the execution of test orders, and deadline monitoring for devices, tools, measuring and test equipment, fire extinguishers, fall protection equipment, and ladders

• You have successfully completed your vocational training as a Track Layer or bring the qualification as a Switch Mechanic
• Ideally, you can already look back on several years of professional experience in the maintenance of railway infrastructure facilities
• You like to take responsibility, are self-motivated, and bring a high degree of customer orientation
• Assertiveness combined with diplomatic skill, motivation, and self-initiative
• Night and weekend work as well as participation in on-call duty for troubleshooting are a matter of course for you
• A Class B driver's license rounds off your profile
