Specialist Claims Manager Infrastructure

We are looking for you as a Specialist Claims Manager Infrastructure (f/m/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at the Munich or Nuremberg location, starting as soon as possible.

• As a variation order manager, you take the lead in preparing variation order proposals in coordination with project managers
• Conducting active variation order management as well as qualitative and content-related review of planning variations are also part of your tasks
• You independently write statements and response letters for claim defense
• You enforce contractual claims of DB E&C towards clients in cooperation with project managers
• You are also responsible for identification, analysis and evaluation of contractual project risks and advising the project team on risk management
• You also identify variation order potential and thus pricing scope in the proposal and calculation process for contracts in public tender procedures and in the award of HOAI services to external service providers
• Through your support and guidance you ensure proposal and variation order preparation from a contract law perspective

• Successfully completed technical college or university degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
• You have strong expertise in proposal and contract management, procurement law and HOAI as well as many years of experience in variation order management in engineering contracts
• Cross-disciplinary practical construction and infrastructure-specific expertise
• Your extensive experience in claim and anti-claim management sets you apart
• You convince internal and external stakeholders with your confident demeanor and strong communication skills
• Resilience and quality orientation, even with time-critical topics, as well as high commitment and flexibility
• Your structured and results-oriented work approach and a high degree of independence and willingness to take responsibility round off your profile
• You are confident using common MS Office applications
