Train Traffic Controller

A train traffic controller (f/m/d) is sought as soon as possible for the DB InfraGO AG business unit at the Hamm location. Full-time, permanent.

• As a train traffic controller, you are responsible for the safe and punctual running of train and shunting movements, taking into account necessary checks and precautions such as route checks, at signal boxes with complex infrastructure
• Even during disruptions in operations, you carry out hazard assessments, keep in contact with everyone involved and ensure safe train operation
• You work in compliance with the valid rules including local provisions as well as operational orders and instructions, and document them
• You are also responsible for issuing, passing on, transmitting and documenting operational messages, orders, commands and timetable notices
• You operate and monitor the assigned control and safety systems and telecommunications systems

• Completed vocational training as a train traffic controller (EiB F or lateral entry) and an active qualification as a train traffic controller with very good knowledge of operations
• Your working style is marked by independence, care and a solution-oriented approach
• To keep trains running around the clock, you will work shifts and rotating duty, including weekends and public holidays
• We require full fitness for operational service and psychological suitability for the work of a train traffic controller
• You also bring a valid class B driving licence and your own car
