About this Apprenticeship
At DHL Supply Chain in Halle (Saale), you make sure goods are correctly received, stored, provided and shipped. Accuracy, safety and teamwork are important.
What You'll Learn
- Operating industrial trucks
- Cutting, sawing and trimming metal parts and bars etc.
- Operating industrial saw machines (CNC-controlled)
- Properly assembling customer orders as specified
- Value-added tasks such as assembling, repacking and packaging
- Responsible for order and cleanliness
Requirements
- Knowledge of operating industrial trucks desirable, forklift license required
- Knowledge of operating CNC-controlled machines
- Work experience and knowledge of all warehouse processes desirable
- Expertise in warehouse management systems desirable
- Good IT skills
- German language in speech and writing
- Basic knowledge of English an advantage
- Reliability, resilience – physical and in terms of time
