Dual Study Program in Civil Engineering with Apprenticeship as Industrial Electrician 2027

4.5-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with an integrated apprenticeship as an industrial electrician at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Halle (Saale). Theory phases take place at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg, and vocational school and training workshop are in Leipzig. You start with a four-week practical placement at the company.

• In the first three years, apprenticeship as industrial electrician with vocational school and training workshop
• Parallel studies at the university, each winter semester
• Practical phases in the 2nd and 3rd training year mostly in the summer semester
• Take part in construction projects and gain insight into cost estimating, construction supervision and project management
• Work on construction sites, from surveying to quality control
• Become a specialist in installing and modernizing contact wires and insulators
• Learn testing and measuring methods and basic craft skills

• Abitur (soon) successfully completed or an equivalent vocational qualification (vocationally qualified applicants must meet the enrollment requirements of TH Nürnberg)
