Employed Customer Adviser, Career Changers Welcome

Permanent full-time customer adviser role at DEVK offices in Gelsenkirchen, also open to career changers. Help private and business customers make insurance decisions and build lasting customer relationships.

• Provide individual advice on all insurance matters to long-standing private and business customers, online and in person
• Grow the agency's customer base by winning new customers
• Contact existing customers regularly to build lasting business relationships
• Manage claims and settle small claims
• Consistently offer relevant additional products

• Completed insurance training as an insurance specialist, an insurance and financial investments clerk, or an equivalent qualification
• Initial customer advisory experience as a key account manager, sales manager, representative, customer adviser, sales employee, salesperson, or field sales representative
• Alternatively, you are a career changer seeking to enter the insurance industry, ideally with commercial vocational training
• You enjoy getting people interested and excited
• A category B driving licence
