Cloud Network Security Engineer

• Configuration, administration and planning of firewalls, especially based on Fortinet and Netskope.
• Ensuring network security, high availability and performance in hybrid, complex cloud and on-premises environments.
• Planning, implementing and running modern network infrastructures in AWS, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/OpenTofu and Git.
• Close collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as analysis and troubleshooting to continuously improve security, stability and performance.

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role focused on security gateways and building and running network infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with firewall management (CLI experience an advantage) and a solid understanding of network protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, routing, ZTNA).
• Ideally knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
