Sales Assistant, 10 hours per week in 58636 Iserlohn

As a sales assistant at dm, you advise customers and help make shopping enjoyable. Working hours are agreed with the team, with morning, afternoon or evening shifts from Monday to Saturday. This part-time role is for 10 hours per week, from 6 November 2026 to 30 November 2027.

• Customer advice: You help customers with knowledge and a smile, answering all their questions.
• Displaying goods and arranging the product range: You keep products clearly arranged, sorted with customers in mind and easy to reach, helping make shopping at dm enjoyable.
• Customer care: Your openness and willingness to help make shopping at dm a pleasant experience.
• Passport photo service: You take passport and identity document photos that meet biometric requirements.
• Checkout work: You keep the checkout running smoothly so customers finish their shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: You process incoming online orders and help prepare express deliveries for customers.
• Creating promotional displays together: You use your creativity, ideas and organisation skills to support sales promotions.
• Stocktaking: You count stock and place orders to keep products available in the store.

• Customer service: You show care, commitment and enjoyment in meeting people, helping us create the welcoming atmosphere dm is known for.
• Training and work experience: You have completed commercial vocational training and already have experience in retail or another commercial role.
• Enabled eID for the passport photo service: Your identity document must have its electronic ID function enabled so that passport photos can be sent digitally from our stores to citizens' offices.
• Skills: You enjoy working with digital tools and are confident using smartphones and similar devices. You also have a very good command of German.
• Teamwork and motivation: You help your team keep the store running smoothly and agree working hours together. You stay calm when things get busy.
• Initiative, problem solving and willingness to shape the future: You want to take initiative, work independently, develop solutions and help our team create a good future for everyone.
• Flexibility: You take an active part in staff scheduling to fit your working hours to the store's opening hours as well as possible.
