About this Apprenticeship
Programme for school leavers to become a certified retail specialist and manager in food retail at REWE Dortmund in Iserlohn. Training covers sales, inventory management and an introduction to managing staff.
What You'll Learn
- Advise customers and conduct sales conversations
- Determine stock needs and arrange orders
- Store and check goods
- Build and organise the product range
- Display goods and carry out sales promotions
- Learn how to manage staff
- Plan staffing and prepare sales statistics, performance checks and accounts to monitor and manage store performance
Requirements
- Good grades in the Abitur or Fachabitur school leaving qualification
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally with some practical experience
- Interest in how businesses work
- A focus on customers and enjoyment of working with people
- A confident and assured manner
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organisational skills
- Strong commitment and the ability to keep track of things even in stressful situations
