Sales Assistant, 20 to 25 hours per week in 85354 Freising

As a sales assistant at the dm store in Freising, you will advise customers on the product range and help make shopping enjoyable. This part-time role is for 20 to 25 hours per week and lasts 12 months. Working hours are agreed with the store across morning, midday and evening shifts from Monday to Saturday. You can start immediately.

• Customer advice: Help customers with knowledge and a smile, answering all their questions.
• Product displays and range: Arrange products clearly, group them to suit customers and make them easy to reach so people enjoy shopping at dm.
• Customer focus: Make shopping at dm enjoyable through your friendly and helpful approach.
• Passport photo service: Take passport photos for identity documents and similar purposes that meet biometric requirements.
• Checkout: Keep the checkout running smoothly so customers finish shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and help prepare express deliveries for customers.
• Creating promotional displays together: Use your creativity, ideas and organisational skills to support sales promotions.
• Stocktaking: Record stock levels and place orders to ensure the store does not run out of products.

• Customer service: Your empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people help create dm's welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and work experience: You have completed vocational training in business or commerce and already have experience in retail or another business role.
• eID activation for the passport photo service: The electronic ID function on your identity document must be activated so passport photos taken in our stores can be sent digitally to local public service offices.
• Skills: You enjoy working with digital tools and confidently use smartphones and similar devices. You also have an excellent command of German.
