Sales Assistant, 20 hours per week, in 72250 Freudenstadt

As a sales assistant at dm, you advise customers and help make shopping enjoyable. Shifts are agreed with the store and take place in the morning, afternoon or evening, Monday to Saturday. This part-time role is for 20 hours per week, starting immediately and ending on 31 July 2027.

• Customer advice: Help customers with knowledge and a smile, answering all their questions.
• Product displays and range: Arrange products clearly, in a way that suits customers and makes them easy to reach, helping people enjoy shopping at dm.
• Customer focus: Make shopping at dm enjoyable through your friendly and helpful approach.
• Passport photo service: Take passport photos for identity documents and similar uses in line with biometric rules.
• Checkout: Keep checkout operations running smoothly so customers finish shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and help prepare express orders for customers.
• Promotional displays: Use your creativity, ideas and organisational skills to help create themed tables for sales promotions.
• Stocktaking: Count stock and place orders to make sure products remain available in the store.

• Customer service: Your empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people help create dm's welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and work experience: You have completed commercial vocational training and already have experience in retail or another commercial role.
• Activated eID for the passport photo service: Your identity document must have its eID function activated so you can send passport photos digitally from the store to the local citizens' offices.
• Skills: You enjoy digital work and confidently use smartphones and similar devices. You also have an excellent command of German.
• Teamwork and motivation: You help your team keep the store running smoothly and agree working hours together. You stay calm when work gets stressful.
• Initiative, problem solving and willingness to shape change: You want to take initiative, work independently, develop solutions and help the team build a better future for everyone.
• Flexibility: You actively help plan staff schedules to fit your working hours around the store's opening hours.
