Sales Assistant, 5 Hours per Week, 45525 Hattingen

Minijob as a sales assistant at the dm store at Heggerstraße 22 in Hattingen, working five hours per week. You advise customers, display products and handle checkout and other store duties. Shifts are agreed from Monday to Saturday at different times of day. The role lasts twelve months and is available immediately.

• Customer advice: Support customers with expertise and a smile, answering all their questions.
• Product displays and range organisation: Arrange products clearly, organise them around customer needs and make them easy to take from shelves so that customers enjoy shopping at dm.
• Customer focus: Make shopping at dm a pleasant experience through your openness and willingness to help.
• Passport photo service: Take passport and identity document photos that meet biometric standards.
• Checkout: Keep checkout operations running smoothly so customers finish their shopping in a pleasant atmosphere.
• Picking express orders: Process incoming online orders and help prepare express orders for customers.
• Create promotional displays together: Contribute your creativity, ideas and organisational skills to sales promotions.
• Stocktaking: Record stock levels and place orders to ensure the store does not run out of products.

• Customer service: Use your empathy, commitment and enjoyment of meeting people to help create dm's welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and experience: Have completed commercial vocational training and already gained experience in retail or another commercial role.
• Activated eID for passport photos: Your identity document must have its eID function activated so that passport photos taken in store can be sent digitally to citizens' offices.
• Skills: Enjoy digital work and confidently use smartphones and similar devices. Have an excellent command of German.
• Team spirit and motivation: Help the team keep the store running smoothly and agree working hours together. Stay calm when work gets stressful.
