From day one, you work on real tasks and get to know your profession practically. Accompanying seminars and targeted exam preparation support you in this. Step by step, you take on more responsibility, build self-confidence, and see what you can achieve. After your apprenticeship, we offer you good chances for a long-term perspective and further development at Dr. Oetker.

• You complete your 3.5-year apprenticeship at our production sites in Bielefeld and Oerlinghausen.
• You learn the electronics, control engineering, and mechanics of our production systems, from installation and commissioning to maintenance and repair.
• You work on modern systems, recognize malfunctions, and learn to systematically analyze and rectify technical faults.
• You complete your basic training and further courses in the training workshop of Miele & Cie. KG in Bielefeld.
• You additionally complete first-aid training and a forklift license.

• You have at least a secondary school certificate (grade 10) with good grades in mathematics and physics and at least satisfactory grades in German and English.
• You are interested in machines, technical systems, automation, and their interaction in modern production plants. Ideally, you have already gained initial insights into manual activities through internships.
• You have manual dexterity and a basic technical understanding of mechanical and electronic processes.
• You work carefully, reliably, and with a high safety awareness when handling tools, measuring devices, and machines.
• You enjoy working in a team, are curious, motivated, and ready to develop further during your apprenticeship.
