IT Consultant Compute Automation

You take responsibility for the automation platform for on-premises and cloud infrastructure at Dräger in Lübeck, in a team of 10 colleagues. You work closely with business departments and external service providers and have real decision-making room on standards and further development.

• Responsibility for standards for CI/CD, infrastructure as code and container orchestration
• Advising business departments on system use and optimization
• Managing incident, change and access management for the platform
• Monitoring system operations, analyzing and resolving faults
• Maintaining the product backlog and moderating user story workshops
• Managing external service providers – from requirements to quality control
• Planning and technically implementing concrete platform developments (e.g. new automation pipelines, scaling mechanisms)
• Defining access, security and scaling mechanisms for compute resources, including GPU workloads for AI applications

• Completed university degree or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT solution design, agile implementation and IT operations
• Programming skills in Python, bash/sh, ideally Rust/Perl
• Know-how in agile development methods
• Practical experience in CI/CD, IaC (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) and container orchestration and virtualization (e.g. Kubernetes and Proxmox Virtual Environment)
• Experience with access, security and cost management for compute resources
• Knowledge of AI applications and GPU technologies
• Very good English skills
