Internship Safety Technology - Web Application Development (ZMS)

In safety technology, you support us for three to six months in the web application development for the fire department administration software ZMS. • Create test data for QA and development systems for Drägerware.ZMS, in particular anonymized or pseudonymized test data from production data, or data created from scratch with a DSL to be built (either option)
• Introduce API integration tests for the new REST API
• Evaluate and build a prototype of a BI tool for analyzing the existing raw data
• Evaluate and build a prototype Excel report based on raw data

• Studies in computer science or software development, at least in the 4th semester, or a comparable degree
• Ideally first knowledge of object-oriented programming with Java or Python
• Ideally first knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Ideally first knowledge of REST APIs (REST, HTTP protocol, etc.)
• Ideally first knowledge as a data scientist or someone who wants to become one
• Ideally first knowledge of Excel (preparing raw data in Excel, e.g. via C# or similar)
• Good English skills are desirable
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working and commitment to implementing your own ideas
