Internship / Thesis IT – AI and Machine Learning

In the Corporate Technology & Innovation area you support an interdisciplinary team from Controlling, Production and IT for three to six months in AI- and machine-learning-driven process optimisation. In exchange with your team you develop predictive models and intelligent systems that improve operational efficiency and decision-making processes in various areas. Develop and implement models for trend prediction and optimise and monitor processes Analyse large amounts of data to gain meaningful insights and drive model development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide AI-driven solutions Present results and progress to stakeholders and team members

Degree in computer science, data science, (business) mathematics or a comparable course of study from at least the 4th semester, an already obtained bachelor's degree is preferred ideally solid programming skills in Python (such as scikit-learn and pandas) and initial experience with SQL databases desirable knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Spark and Databricks is an advantage problem-solving ability and creativity in developing new approaches for complex challenges
