Group Head, FX Forward Trading

• As Group Head of FX Forward Trading (m/f/d), you will manage the KHDF group professionally and disciplinarily, and will also be responsible for building and strategically developing our customer-oriented FX forward trading business.
• You will position the FX Forward Trading Desk as an important part of our FX strategy for corporate, institutional and cooperative-network customers.
• You will define and monitor strategic guidelines for position management as well as P&L, limits and sensitivities, coordinating with market-price risk, compliance and other control units.
• You will be responsible for FX swap market-making for our sales units, their customers, group subsidiaries and interbank partners, and ensure market-based, compliant pricing in accordance with FX Global Code principles.
• You will manage market-price risk positions in the FX forward book, including hedging customer and liquidity flows, and promote collaboration within FX trading to combine pricing and product expertise.
• You will actively help shape our leadership culture and base your actions on performance, partnership, consistency and courage.

• Successful university degree in economics, business administration or a comparable field; alternatively, many years of professional experience in foreign exchange and capital markets trading with relevant additional professional qualifications
• Many years of professional experience trading FX products – ideally more than ten years – particularly in FX swap market-making and risk management in interbank and customer business
• Initial experience managing employees and demonstrable success managing an FX forward book, including the management of risks, P&L, limits and sensitivities
• In-depth expertise in building or strategically developing an FX forward desk and deriving profitable trading and hedging strategies from customer and market flows
• Sound understanding of regulatory requirements, operational processes, and credit, liquidity and clearing aspects of FX trading
• Experience with interest-rate instruments such as interest rate swaps and money-market futures for hedging market-price risks, as well as comprehensive knowledge of trading, settlement and risk-management processes
• Very good spoken and written German and fluent business English
