• As a Specialist for ESG Data & Energy Management (m/f/d), you are responsible for the quality, integrity, completeness, and auditability of sustainability and energy metrics for the operational ecology of the DZ BANK Group – in accordance with ESRS for CSRD reporting and for external ratings such as CDP.
• You compile the required sustainability data for external audits and support their technical execution.
• You optimize both energy controlling and meter management, plausibilize consumption data, and evaluate it for energy monitoring and energy management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001.
• You lead or manage digitalization projects, particularly the introduction and further development of software solutions for operational ecological accounting, ESG and energy monitoring.
• You develop and document technical IT requirements, define interfaces and data models – coordinating with internal IT units and external software service providers.

• Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Management, or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on data and IT
• Several years of professional experience in data management, ESG data controlling, or energy monitoring, ideally in a banking or corporate group environment
• Proven experience in classic or agile project management or project steering at the interface between specialist department and IT
• Sound knowledge of requirements for sustainability data according to CSRD and ESRS, as well as audit knowledge of DIN EN ISO 50001 and EMAS is an advantage
• Very good technical understanding of databases, interfaces, automated data flows, and common ESG or energy management software
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and willingness to deepen technical expertise
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
