With your qualification as a retail management specialist you belong to tomorrow's next generation of leaders, or you can become a self-employed retailer with EDEKA and be your own boss. What makes this apprenticeship special? Double qualification! After 3 years you hold two qualifications in your hands: retail clerk and retail management specialist.

• Daily business: you get to know all relevant areas, from purchasing and sales to marketing and professional customer advice.
• Business administration: you determine and analyse key figures and use them to develop well-founded decisions for the company's success.
• Merchandise management & logistics: you gain insight into procurement, storage and the whole flow of goods in the store.
• Business processes: you work intensively with business management, work organisation, accounting, store accounting and sales.
• Leadership & staff: you study modern leadership approaches and learn how to motivate, deploy and develop employees.

• School qualification: university entrance qualification (Abitur or Fachabitur)
• Business studies: you are interested in business processes
• Numbers pro: you have a good understanding of maths
