About this Apprenticeship
- Getting to know daily market operations: You'll learn the various areas of retail – from product presentation and customer consulting to market organization and staff management.
- Understanding business administration: You'll deal with business processes, analyze key figures, and learn the connections between market, logistics, and administration.

Besides fundamentals like business administration, economics, and mathematics, you'll deal with retail marketing, digitalization in retail, as well as human resources management and leadership. Additionally, you can deepen your knowledge through exciting elective subjects like "Trends in Consumer Goods Retail" or "Opportunity and Risk Management in Consumer Goods Retail". In the practical phases at Marktkauf you'll get to know the various areas of a market and can directly apply your theoretical knowledge in daily work. This way you'll gain valuable experience, take on responsibility step by step, and lay the foundation for your professional future in retail.
