Become a technology professional and learn to independently identify and rectify faults and malfunctions in vehicles. Discover the world of hydraulics, electrics, mechanics and pneumatics. Learn to read assembly, circuit and network diagrams and apply your knowledge directly in the workshop. Assist with maintenance, repair and assembly work on components, assemblies and systems. Develop important manual skills in metalworking and joining techniques. Participate in service and maintenance work on vehicles. Ensure with quality controls that vehicles are safe and reliable on the road.

You feel comfortable in the workshop and enjoy getting things done with your hands. Vehicles and technology fascinate you and you want to understand what happens under the hood. Technical relationships interest you and you may have already shown manual dexterity when screwing, repairing or in your own projects. You like working in a team. You are reliable and approach tasks responsibly. You have a school-leaving certificate or are about to get one.
