Master / Technician Control Room Operator Electricity

At modern control system workstations you operate and monitor the medium-voltage networks of the South control centre. As a central node, you independently coordinate fault finding during disruptions, ensure high-quality fault management and initiate the necessary switching and restoration measures. You carry out necessary medium-voltage switching operations with fitters and internal and external partners, e.g. during maintenance or conversion work. You issue switching instructions for field personnel and work closely with internal and external partners (grid operators, authorities, municipalities, customers and companies). You are responsible for receiving fault reports from electricity customers and ensure clear communication. • You have completed further training as a technician / master in electrical engineering.
• Ideally you have knowledge in the field of electrical energy systems and experience in grid control.
• New technologies inspire you and you are open to innovative solutions.
• Confident use of Office 365 applications is a matter of course for you.
• You are a team player, flexible, committed and characterised by an independent and responsible way of working.
• You bring communication skills and enjoyment of working with people and convince with a confident and sovereign expression.
• Very good German skills in word and writing are required, as the job involves clear communication and instruction of people in critical situations.
• Willingness to work shifts and a class B driving licence complete your profile.
