Skilled Craftsman Radiation Protection (limited to 2 years)

Planning, preparation, execution and evaluation of practical radiation protection activities for residual operation in controlled areas.

• Planning, preparation, execution and evaluation of practical radiation protection activities for residual operation in controlled areas
• Operational radiation protection support for decommissioning projects in controlled areas of the nuclear power plant
• Support of cross-cutting individual projects and undertakings in the radiation protection sub-area
• Creation of written operational regulations
• Assumption of radiation protection standby and shift duty

• Skilled craftsman in a technical profession, e.g. in the fields of measurement and control technology, radiochemistry, radiation protection, alternatively a completed vocational training with professional experience in nuclear technology
• Several years of professional experience in radiation protection is an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a high degree of independence, willingness to take responsibility and reliability
• Ability to quickly integrate into a team, coupled with interest and willingness for continuous further training
• Willingness to perform shift and standby duties
• Suitability for work in controlled areas
• Willingness for internal further qualification, e.g. to become a radiation protection technician
