About this Apprenticeship
E.DIS Netz GmbH, one of the largest regional grid operators in Germany, offers a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operations technology starting on 23 August 2027. Vocational school is in Rostock in block form, and practical training takes place at the Rostock training center and at a regional site near your home in the grid area. After training you will work as a grid fitter.
What You'll Learn
- Energy technology
- Installation, assembly and maintenance of systems in energy supply technology, automation technology, IT and network technology as well as control and regulation technology
- Maintenance and repair of distribution networks
- Maintenance and servicing of transformer and substation stations
- Maintenance and configuration of meter units
- Connection of renewable energy systems (e.g. solar technology)

- Training pay: 1st year €1,387 gross, 2nd year €1,452 gross, 3rd year €1,517 gross, 4th year €1,583 gross
- With a 38-hour week, we also offer you 30 days of vacation

- We support you with up to €500 gross for accommodation during training/studies if you have to move
