About this Apprenticeship
HGC Hamburg Gas Consult GmbH, an engineering consultancy and E.ON subsidiary, seeks someone to join its electrical engineering planning and construction supervision team in Hamburg as soon as possible. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working and covers decentralized energy supply, gas supply and hydrogen production projects.
What You'll Learn
- Plan and deliver new construction, modification and maintenance projects for electrical and automation equipment in decentralized energy supply, natural gas supply and hydrogen production facilities, including feeding biomethane and hydrogen into the natural gas supply
- Prepare design and detailed construction plans, lists of required work and automation specifications; supervise construction and coordinate commissioning
- Manage projects, focusing on schedule and cost tracking and resource planning
- Ensure quality during manufacturing, installation, commissioning and trial operation
- Include workplace safety requirements in project planning and delivery
Requirements
- You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering, or alternatively a technician qualification
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering is desirable
- Experience planning and delivering decentralized energy supply and/or gas supply projects is desirable
- You are flexible, helpful, open and a good team player
- You work independently
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- A focus on customer needs
- Mobility and willingness to travel for project site visits and customer meetings
- Good spoken and written German
- Technical English skills are desirable
