About this Apprenticeship

At E.DIS Netz GmbH, you lead a team of around 12 employees and are responsible for the reliable, cost-effective and safe operation of gas facilities. This permanent, full-time position is advertised as on-site work.

What You'll Learn

  • Lead a team of around 12 employees and take responsibility for the reliable and cost-effective operation of gas pressure regulating and metering facilities, interval metering systems, and biogas injection and reverse-flow facilities.
  • Organise and implement workplace health, safety and environmental measures and rules, and take responsibility for employee safety as the responsible facility operator.
  • Oversee your team's handling of maintenance, inspection, servicing and fault repairs for company facilities and third-party facilities covered by maintenance contracts.
  • Organise work and staff assignments, and implement standards, regulations and guidelines for operating facilities and preserving their condition.
  • Organise and run the on-call service and coordinate service providers.
  • Help plan, prepare and carry out construction measures initiated internally or externally within the E.DIS Netz GmbH network area.

Requirements

  • A technician qualification, master craftsperson qualification or equivalent in gas systems engineering.
  • Good knowledge of standard PC applications and ideally IT systems such as SAP for technical asset data.
  • Ideally, certificates of technical competence under DVGW rules G491, G492, G495, G498 and G280. Further training in these areas is supported.
  • A valid car driving licence.
  • You lead by example with clarity, motivation and the ability to inspire people and help them succeed together.
  • Teamwork, initiative, communication skills and a natural focus on customers.
