Working Student, Purchasing

As a working student at E.ON SE, you support the Purchasing Services area in optimizing procurement processes and systems. Part-time, fixed-term, hybrid work model in Essen.

• You support the Purchasing Services area in optimizing procurement processes/systems, reporting activities, and other administrative tasks
• You help implement operational excellence and lean processes in the procure-to-pay process (operational purchasing)
• You carry out a variety of analyses and reports and support ad hoc requests
• You work with the management team, the Purchasing Services department and cross-functional areas in purchasing
• You drive exciting digitalization topics such as robotics, AI and automation
• You interact with international colleagues from across the E.ON Group
• You are part of a team of operational buyers and key users within the central E.ON supply chain organization, with interfaces to process owners and requesters in the E.ON Group

• You are an enrolled student of economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a comparable degree program
• Ideally, you have already gained first experience in a commercial field, e.g. through a vocational training or internships
• You have very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); first knowledge of SAP MM (S4 Hana) is desirable
• You work independently and on your own responsibility on your own defined (sub-)projects and (sub-)tasks
• You are a team player with good communication skills
• You have fluent German and English skills
