Senior Payroll Accountant

Payroll with responsibility: You run the monthly payroll using DATEV LODAS, record variable compensation components, and handle accruals and company pension schemes. Employee lifecycle in view: From hires and exits through certificates and reports to labor law issues and HR projects – you keep the threads together and work independently. Competent contact person: You advise employees and managers on payroll, social security, and tax topics and support our recruiting in hiring non-EU citizens. Internationally active: You work closely with our international payroll service providers, ensure smooth information and data exchange, and verify and release payroll-relevant data for our international subsidiaries. Compliance in focus: You ensure that legal and local requirements are met, and support the review and provision of relevant data for accounting. Rethinking payroll: Digitalization and automation are not buzzwords for you. You identify improvement potential, optimize processes, and advance our HR systems – especially Workday – together with us.

• Completed commercial training or completed degree with focus on HR, finance, or comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting, ideally with international payroll reference
• Sound knowledge of wage tax, social security, and labor law
• Experience working with international payroll providers and external service providers
• Understanding of country-specific particularities in payroll accounting and international HR processes
• Confident handling of common payroll and HR systems (e.g., Workday, DATEV, or comparable applications)
• Very good German and English language skills
