Nursing Assistant - Full-time Training (18 months)

Training as a nursing assistant takes 18 months full-time. Alternatively it can be completed part-time over up to 36 months. Under certain conditions the training can be shortened by up to one third. The training includes 1,050 hours of theoretical and practical classes and 1,280 hours of practical training. Start: 01.09.2027.

• Apply communication and relationship building professionally
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Apply hygiene and quality standards reliably
• Consider legal, ethical and professional frameworks
• Use digital documentation and communication systems
• Work together in an interprofessional team

• A lower secondary school certificate or equivalent school qualification, or a successfully completed vocational training
• A training contract with a provider of practical training
• Health suitability for this profession
• Sufficient German language skills
• Great interest in working with people and willingness to take responsibility and work in a team
• Extended criminal record certificate
• Proof of sufficient vaccination protection
