Responsibilities: The machines and precision equipment of our production sites – primarily in chemicals and energy – are the fields of operation for industrial mechanics (m/f/d). While plant mechanics work with pumps, piping systems or fittings, industrial mechanics (m/f/d) assemble, convert, inspect, maintain and repair production machines and take care of all mechanical elements. The necessary theoretical knowledge is taught as part of the dual education system at the Goldenberg Europakolleg vocational college in Hürth. Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years. Apprenticeship start: 01.09.2027. Training location: Our training network in Chemiepark Wesseling includes, besides Evonik Group companies, SYNEQT GmbH, Altrad Piping Mechanical GmbH and Weber Industrieller Rohrleitungsbau & Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG.

Assembly, conversion, inspection, maintenance and repair of production machines; Care of all mechanical elements; Deployment in chemical and energy plants.

Good secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) or higher; Manual dexterity; Good technical and physical understanding; Good mathematical skills; Basic knowledge of digital systems and applications; Sense of responsibility, reliability and teamwork; Care and concentration, willingness to learn and flexibility.

Apprenticeship remuneration: Already in the first year you receive over €1,100/month. Afterwards your monthly salary increases per apprenticeship year.
