Track Construction Supervisor

SYNEQT GmbH is seeking a qualified track construction supervisor at Marl SYNEQT. The role covers maintenance and investment projects with budget responsibility, developing asset management and coordinating external contractors.

• Independently carry out maintenance and investment projects in your technical field and take responsibility for the budget.
• Analyse the rail transport system, agree an asset strategy with operations management based on technical and financial factors, and update it regularly.
• Independently organise, brief, supervise and check the quality of external contractors, including legally compliant commissioning and acceptance of their work.
• Continuously improve procedures and processes, actively contribute to continuous improvement and use digital skills to develop asset management.
• Act as a contact for technical questions and customer advice on track construction.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and repair work on signalling and train control systems and align it with track maintenance activities.

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or plant mechanic, followed by qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson in track construction, civil engineering or structural engineering, preferably with completed construction management training.
• Several years of relevant professional experience, negotiation skills and the ability to provide technical leadership to teams.
• Preferably sound knowledge of standards, regulations (BOA/EBO) and framework contracts, along with specialist knowledge in the relevant field.
• Experience in occupational safety and project work.
• Confident use of SAP, MS Office and Risource.
• Ability to develop and manage a digital asset management system for efficient asset analysis and lifecycle management.
• Ability to introduce new digital maintenance processes using analytical and strategic skills to interpret complex data.
• Willingness to keep learning as technology develops quickly.
• A valid category B driving licence.
