The machines in our production facilities - primarily in chemicals and energy - are the work areas for machine and plant operators. They set up, load, clean, and maintain production machines and take care of all mechanical elements. The necessary theoretical knowledge is taught at the Goldenberg Europakolleg vocational school in Hürth as part of the dual education system. Training duration: 2 years. Training location: Our training network in the Wesseling Chemical Park includes, besides Evonik Group companies, SYNEQT GmbH, Altrad Piping Mechanical GmbH, and Weber Industrial Piping & Plant Construction GmbH & Co. KG.

Good secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) or higher; manual dexterity; good technical and physical understanding; good mathematical skills; basic knowledge of digital systems and applications; sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork; care and concentration, willingness to learn and flexibility
