Evonik offers a varied, high-quality apprenticeship in various natural science, technical, logistics, catering and commercial administration professions. The practical training includes: assembly and installation of power, communication and general supply lines; setting up machines, drive systems or pneumatic components; programming and configuring electronic systems; maintenance, servicing and installation of electrical equipment and machines; drawing up circuit and installation diagrams; regular testing of electrical and building control systems; analysing and rectifying faults; compliance with and verification of quality standards taking occupational safety and environmental protection into account. Theoretical training takes place at the Heinrich-Emanuel-Merck vocational school in Darmstadt. Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years.

Accuracy, manual dexterity and finger agility. Good mathematical skills. Enjoyment of working with digital systems and applications. Care, concentration and a strong sense of responsibility. Willingness to work and enthusiasm for teamwork. Normal colour vision.
