Apprentice Biology Laboratory Technician

For its Göttingen site, Evotec is looking for highly motivated and committed apprentices as biology laboratory technicians (all genders), starting training on 1 August 2027.

• Planning and carrying out a wide variety of experiments using many modern lab methods, measuring and analysis devices under scientific guidance
• Learning and applying general working techniques in molecular biology, cell culture, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacology and laboratory animal science
• Observing, adjusting and documenting experiment procedures
• Evaluating and analyzing experiment results
• Applying theoretical knowledge directly in laboratory practice

• (Technical) university entrance qualification or Mittlere Reife with very good grades, especially in biology, chemistry and mathematics
• Research spirit with manual and technical skill, strong interest in scientific questions and joy in solving new challenges
• A strong sense of responsibility when handling chemical and biological substances and working with animals
• Very good powers of observation, strong understanding of hygiene and a strong sense of precise work
• Enjoyment of working in an international team and strong communication skills
• Initiative and motivation to learn new things in practice and theory
• Reliability, flexibility, team spirit and curiosity are among your strengths
• Good German and English skills
