Trainee for Warehouse Logistics Specialist

For our Göttingen or Hamburg location, we are looking for highly motivated and committed trainees for the Warehouse Logistics Specialist apprenticeship (all genders) starting 01 August 2027. During your three-year apprenticeship, you will learn all important areas of warehouse logistics. You will support goods receipt and storage, ensure material supply for our laboratories, and participate in shipping, stock checks and inventories. In doing so, you will take on responsibility from the start and gain valuable practical experience in a modern research environment.

• Receipt, inspection and proper storage of goods
• Inspection of deliveries and processing of delivery notes and other accompanying documents
• Storage of goods with pallet trucks and other transport equipment using modern warehouse processes
• Ensuring internal material supply for the laboratories
• Conducting stock checks, inventories and warehouse postings
• Picking, packing and shipping of goods, such as samples, in compliance with national and international shipping regulations, including air freight standards (IATA)

• Good school leaving certificate as well as good German and English skills
• Interest in logistical processes, warehouse processes and modern merchandise management systems
• Enjoyment in dealing with digital applications and common MS Office programs
• Pronounced organisational skills as well as a structured and careful way of working
• High sense of responsibility in dealing with goods, materials and logistical processes
• Fun working in a team-oriented environment as well as a friendly and reliable personality
• Physical resilience and enjoyment of practical activities
• Own initiative, willingness to learn and the motivation to take on responsibility already during the apprenticeship
